Priscilla was born and raised in the Bay Area, and currently resides right outside of San Francisco. A soon-to-be mama of two, she can’t wait to welcome her daughter to the mix in a few short months. She feels lucky to live in such close proximity to all of the great restaurants in the city and will never never turn down a good cocktail (when not pregnant of course)! Travel is a huge part of her life, and she takes lots of little trips to the coast and wine country with her husband and son. As a boy mama, frequent visits to the spa are necessary - her favorite ways to treat herself are with massages, facials, and skin treatments.

Priscilla's love for all things beauty was sparked at a young age. As a little girl, she played dress-up with her older sister, and got into her mom’s makeup drawer all too often. She also vividly remembers not knowing what to do with her unruly locks as a child, but bad hair days weren't something she'd let get her down. Instead, this helped her develop the creativity and passion she'd need to get to where she is today as the co-founder, co-owner, and Lead Colorist at SF Color Collective, a salon and education company located in San Francisco, California.

Priscilla has been a hair colorist in the beauty industry for over 16 years, and prior to opening her own company, was the Lead Colorist and Education Director at one of San Francisco's top salons. She has an extraordinary eye for detail, and uses her extensive color knowledge and experience to help people look and feel their very best.

Education has always been important to Priscilla, and she realized early on in her career that learning is not one-size-fits-all, and instead, how impactful a hybrid, hands-on model would be. A pioneer in the beauty industry, she created her own advanced coloring curriculum, educating her students in color theory as well as hands-on experience. As her passion for learning continued to grow, so did her teaching. Priscilla joined the L'Oreal Professionnel Education team, traveling to salons teaching color education and techniques. She also took a year-long course studying makeup and period hairstyling at the Makeup Designory in Los Angeles, and she continues to take classes from esteemed academies and top instructors.

In 2018, she teamed up with her long time co-worker and friend and they created their own traveling education company specializing in advanced coloring techniques. It was only a matter of time until SF Color Collective expanded into a full service salon.

Priscilla loves creating natural looks that compliment her clients' features, whether that be a sun-kissed beachy blonde, dimensional brunette, or a stunning red. Each client that sits in her chair gets the perfect customized color to fit their individual style and desired look. Her high level of skill coupled with her love of color truly shows in each head of hair she touches.

Outside of the salon, you can catch Priscilla enjoying the California outdoors or traveling with her family. She's looking forward to helping you have no more bad hair days!
